1. Arrivals and departures:
a. arrivals: Please plan to arrive from 4.00pm; if you are held up for any reason, and will be arriving later in the evening, please let us know so we will be ready to receive you.
b. departures: We ask that guests depart by 11.00am.
a. Double occupancy, including Breakfast: Room One £120; Room Two £110; Room Three £120
b. Single Occupancy, including Breakfast: Room One £95; Room Two £85; Room Three £95
c. Bank holidays and special local event weekends: Guests must book a minimum of two nights over Friday, Saturday, and Sunday.
d. Discounts for multiple days: If booking direct for three or more days, please inquire regarding a discount.
e. Special moments (birthday, anniversaries): If planning a special occasion, please inquire about special options for meals or other requirements.
f. We accept personal American Express, Visa and MasterCard credit and debit cards, and cash.
g. Booking: We require 25% of the total booking value as a deposit to secure room.
h. Cancellation: Should you need to cancel more than 7 days in advance of scheduled arrival, your deposit will be returned, less a £5 administration fee. If cancellation is made 7 days, or less, in advance of your scheduled arrival, the full deposit is non-refundable.
a. Smoking: Low Hall has a strict No Smoking policy throughout the building, including from windows and doors. For the consideration of future guests, we will have to deep clean any room where smoking occurs and charge a night’s accommodation for the service. Guests are free to smoke outside, away from the entrances.
b. Dog Policy: Up to two dogs per room are welcome, please confirm at the time of booking. We require that dogs not be allowed on any furniture in the bedrooms or in the public areas, and that they not be left unattended in any room. Please crate them or pop them in your vehicle, especially during meals.
c. Damage to property: We understand that accidents and damage occur, including that caused by pets. Please advise us, if it is merited, we may have to charge you to replace or repair damaged items. . We reserve the right to assess the extent of damage.
d. Laundry: We have a drying room in a private part of our home and are happy to handle your wet clothes and boots. If clothes need laundering, we can run a load (£2.50) and tumble dry them (£2.50). An Iron and ironing board can be made available in your bedroom.
e. Christmas and New Years: Low Hall is closed annually from 23 December through 3 January.
f.i. Any dispute will be governed by the non-exclusive law of the English courts;
f.ii. We do not accept any liability for damage, loss, or injury to any party member, property, or vehicle on our property.
a. Secure bicycle storage: Low Hall has secure bicycle storage available.
b. Parking: Parking is available on our property, for one vehicle per room. Additional parking space can be arranged with notification.
c. Hikers: If hiking the Coast 2 Coast trail, we can pick up you at a pre-arranged spot in Shap (or close by), and return you there the next day with no cost. For other pick-up requirements, please inquire. Please advise at the time of booking.
d. Train: If traveling to/from Penrith by train, we can pick you up and return you there at the end of your stay. Please advise at the time of booking. Charge for pick-up or drop-off for one to two people, is £10.
